Nana Konadu’s Threat Is Petty

A member of the Reform Party, Percy Annan says the former first lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings is only being petty with threats to place a ban on the use of the NDC?s logo, the umbrella. In a letter written to the National Chairman of the NDC, Dr. Kwabena Adjei, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings stated that she holds the copyright to the logo known as the ?akatamanso? which the party uses as its symbol. According to her, she would withdraw the logo if the leadership of the party continues to disrespect the ideals of the party and her family. The leadership of the NDC has however, stated that even though they are unfazed by threats of Mrs. Rawlings, they will meet to take a decision on the party?s logo.
