Manny Pacquiao gets it crackin. Ahead of his December 8th bout with Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny Pacquiao has signed a sponsorship deal with California-based Wonderful Pistachios.  Wonderful Pistachios will also serve as a sponsor of Pacquiao - Marquez IV which features USA Boxing record holder (six consecutive gold medals) Jose Ramirez in the undercard.  Ramirez has also signed a sponsorship deal with the company. "As athletes, Manny Pacquiao and Jose Ramirez are the epitome of physical health, and as one of the lowest calorie, lowest fat nuts, Wonderful Pistachios are an excellent snack choice for competitors and fans alike," said Mark Masten, vice president of global sales and marketing, Paramount Farms. "Sponsoring this fight is an opportunity for Wonderful Pistachios to reach the boxing community by having a presence at the main event, and with our consumers watching at home. It's a knockout win for all!" Pacquiao joins a long, eclectic list of Wonderful Pistachios endorsers, including Snoop Lion (formerly Snoop Dogg), cartoon characters The Simpsons, and the Village People.  Pacquiao has already filmed a television spot for the pistachio brand, which will air during tonight's Monday Night Football match-up between the Giants and Redskins.  For those eager to see the spot before it airs, it can be found below. For more information about Wonderful Pistachios or the "Get Crackin'" campaign, visit the company on Facebook.     (via Wonderful Pistachios press release)
