Shane Mosley has fought some of the best fighters of the past decade including Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr., so any input he has on a possible fight, especially against a fighter he has faced, has to be warranted. Mosley expressed that he thought a Mayweather-Marcos Maidana bout would be a better fight than the more rumored bout with British star Amir Khan. Although Khan beat Maidana a few years ago he has proven to be a better fighter after his loss to Khan in 2010. Since the loss, Maidana has a record of 6-1, with four wins coming by way of KO or TKO. Maidana beat notable fighters during that span including Mayweather (45-0, 26 KOs) protégé Adrien Broner, Josesito Lopez, Jesus Soto Karass and Erik Morales to name a few. During that same span Khan (28-2, 20 KOs) has fought six times, going 4-2 in those bouts, losing his bout with Danny Garcia in 2012 via fourth round TKO.
