Take a look at this special message from Wladimir Klitschko to his fans following his dominant showing against Jean Marc Mormeck. Klitschko thanks his fans, and talks to them about the fight, his upcoming plans, and much more. Watch it right here. Klitschko thanks all of the fans for showing up and supporting him, and he says he can't believe how great it was to have so many people there. He acknowledges that the Mormeck fight wasn't the most exciting, and it was one-sided, but says he needed to defend his titles and he did what he had to do. Next, Klitschko tells his fans he'll be taking a break for a few weeks, but then preparing for his next defense, a rematch against Tony Thompson. He expects that to occur in June or July, and he'll be exploring dates and sites and all of that soon. As usual, it's always fun to see Klitschko addressing his fans directly and giving them so much thanks and appreciation for their support.

Klitschko vs. Mormeck Results – Photos

Last night in Dusseldorf, Wladimir Klitschko dispatched of former cruiserweight titleholder Jean Marc Mormeck via 4th round knockout to once again defend his heavyweight championships. The fight was basically what we all expected it to be, a one-sided exhibition. However, Mormeck was even more dismal than most could have possibly imagined, hardly throwing more than a dozen punches...

Is Wladimir Klitschko the best heavyweight Champion ever?

Heavyweight boxing is certainly not what it used to be. The best boxing is now a few select guys who weigh about as much as the average high school junior. The days of Tyson, Holyfield, and Lewis are long gone, but don't tell that to Wladimir Klitschko, who for the last 5 years, has been defending his heavywelt belt, and has now laid down 50 KO's in his career with the shellacking...

Saturday's heavyweight matchup between the WBA and IBF champ Wladimir Klitschko and French challenger Jean-Marc Mormeck in Dusseldorf, Germany, did not disappoint. Tony Thompson unimpressed with Wlad vs. Mormeck, ready for 2nd chance

As Wladimir Klitschko (57-3, 50 KOs) made easy work of his voluntary opponent, Jean Marc Mormeck (36-5, 22 KOs) Saturday in Germany, a 6'5, 255 lb. heavyweight was watching from the states knowing he "Got Next." That man was Tony Thompson (36-2, 24 KOs), and he is the IBF mandatory challenger for Wladamir in a bout to take place no later than mid-July. Credit: Goossen...

Boxer Power Rankings - March 2012

Yeah, so this list is a few days delinquent. I'd like to say it was because I was so dazzled by the action in the Wladimir Klitschko-Jean-Marc Mormeck fight this weekend that I couldn't get around to compiling the power rankings. However, seeing as George Washington's birthday was just a few weeks ago and part of his myth is the thing about not telling a lie, I can'...

Oquendo wants American heavyweights Mitchell, Arreola & more

Watching Jean-Marc Mormeck get blown out by Wladimir Klitschko last weekend, the frustration was overwhelming for long-time heavyweight contender "Fast" Fres Oquendo (33-7, 22 KOs). The Chicago-based fighter had soundly beaten Mormeck (everywhere but the scorecards) in Mormeck's adopted home of France in 2010. And that "victory" by Mormeck, coupled...
