The final fight of three consecutive heavyweight bouts on Epix is about to play out from ESPIRIT arena in Dusseldorf, Germany. Wladimir Klitschko takes on former cruiserweight titleholder Jean-Marc Mormeck for the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight belts. Bruce Beck, Dan Rafael and Freddie Roach are once again on hand in the Epix studio with Chris Mannix of SI on the ground in Germany.

Before we get to today's fight, Beck and company discuss Vitali Klitschko and his victory over Dereck Chisora two weeks ago. Mannix interviews Vitali to ask him about his shoulder injury, his future plans and how his brother's fight might play out.

The announce team also looks very briefly at Alexander Povetkin and his close win versus Marco Huck seven days ago. Rafael reveals his top 10 list of heavyweights that features Wladimir, Vitali and Povetkin in the top three spots in that order.

Mannix also catches up with Wladimir, who promises to do everything he can to "dominate my opponent," though he stops short of guaranteeing a knockout. He points out that he has done that before and been unsucessful (like when he fought David Haye), so he is not going to do it today.

Trainer Emanuel Steward also gets some interview time with Mannix. He says Mormeck's style will keep the chances of an early KO fairly low and make the fight interesting. Here's hoping he's being honest.

Roach gives his keys to the fight, and he should know something here because he has treined both guys.  For Mormeck to pull off the upset, he'll need to use his strength to get to Klitschko early, roughing him up with close range punches and even forearms if necessary. For the champ, Roach says establishing the jab and throwing the right hand off said jab will increase Klitschko's chances of scoring a KO. Rafael quips that Mormeck's keys should include a little bit of prayer.

It's mentioned that Klitschko is between a 50-1 and 100-1 betting favorite in different places in Europe, which tells you exactly how little chance many people give Mormeck in this bout. The announcers talk a little about what Wlad may do after this, including picking up the final heavyweight belt after his brother Vitali retires.

Michael Buffer takes his place in the ring to get the pageantry going. As is typical for a fight in Germany, the ring walks are going to be multimedia extravaganzas. The Epix video feed goes out during Mormeck's entrance, which is kind of unfortunate. The Marksman is 36-4 with 22 KOs in his pro career.

Video is restored just before Klitschko comes down the aisle. The man known as Dr. Steelhammer has a pro record of 56-3 with 49 KOs, and he has not lost since Lamon Brewster stopped him nearly eight years ago.

The national anthems for France and Ukraine are played. The referee in charge of the action tonight is Luis Pabon. Buffer does the formal fighter introductions, and we are set for a scheduled 12 rounds of boxing for Klitschko's trio of titles.

Round 1

Mormeck is doing plenty of moving with his guard held high and tight. There's some early holding as Mormeck comes in, head down. Klitschko tries a left hook to keep his opponent back. He doubles the jab when he gets the space. Klitschko tries hooks with both hands, then pushes Mormeck back to get room to punch. There's a Klitschko right hand off the jab. Mormeck finally lands a short right hand, maybe his only connection of the round.

Tylwalk: 10-9 Klitschko

Round 2

The punch stats for Epix had Mormeck landing no punches in the first round. Klitschko lets his hands go with a combination. He crashes home a right hand off the jab. Mormeck is trying to cover up but punches are getting through. A right hand connects and Mormeck is down. He's on one knee, and he manages to get up in time to beat the count. Klitschko presses forward to try to corner Mormeck. A right hand and a left hook both land. A one-two batters Mormeck back against the ropes, but he manages to survive the round.

Tylwalk: 10-8 Klitschko
