Gonzaga's Heytvelt charged with felony drug posession

As reported two weeks ago, Gonzaga's Josh Heytvelt and Theo Davis were stopped by Spokane Police for possession of marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms. The court has filed misdemeanor charges against Davis for the marijuana, while Heytvelt is being charged with felony drug possession. The maximum sentence for this type of offense is 5 years and $10,000 fine, however, usually for first time offenders it is a 6 month sentence and counseling. Coach Mark Few has placed the two on an indefinite suspension and there is no word yet about either's return to the team.
