Here's some more fallout from the Bob Huggins-to-West Virginia story. According to the Kansas State Athletic Department, incoming signed basketball recruits will not be released from their National Letter(s) of Intent.

I mean I guess I understand why they would want to do this, but recruits sign to play for a coach, not a program. They should let these guys go, but it would really hurt their program so I understand.

Yeah it's one of those weird situations where I don't think there's a right or a wrong. I just think it's funny that they know the kids would leave if they didn't force them to stay. Classic.

I agree with K-State. They gave Huggins a chance when no one else did and he pays them back like this? Why reward him and let the players that signed with him stay with him. This never would have happened if Huggins had any loyalty.
