longwoodlancers Alabama Nation is still shocked over the mysterious transfer of Trevor Lacy, mostly because no official reason was given other than that he wanted “to pursue other opportunities”. Lacey is the fifth player in three years to transfer out of head coach Anthony Grant’s program in Tuscaloosa.  Luckily, the Crimson Tide won’t be hurting as much in the coming season thanks to Michael Kessens, who announced last Monday that he has signed with Alabama. The 6-foot-9, 215-pound power forward played his freshman season at Longwood University.  “We are very excited to have Michael join our program here at the University of Alabama,” Grant said. “Michael brings a high skill level and strong basketball IQ to his position. He has a passion for the game and has had the opportunity to learn the college game over the last year.
