Mike Anderson's honeymoon is nearly over at Arkansas. The first-year Razorbacks basketball coach was hired away from Missouri in March, returning to the school he once helped lead to national prominence as an assistant for 17 years under Nolan Richardson. After trying to rekindle interest in the program throughout the offseason, Anderson's task is now to show improvement on the court. The Razorbacks finished 18-13 last season, missing the NCAA tournament for the third straight year. They haven't reached the second weekend of tournament play since 1996, and they enter this season without seven players from last season. Forward Marshawn Powell hopes to return to the form of his freshman season when he averaged 14.9 points per game. The regular season begins at home Nov. 11 against South Carolina-Upstate.
