Jim Baron put his arm around his son following his 400th career win Thursday night and emotionally said, “It’s rich being able to share it with my son right here.  That’s the beauty of it.” Baron’s squad almost let the game slip away once again as a 13 point lead with less than five minutes to go, was cut to two with 36 seconds left.  It seemed like the visiting Manhattan Jaspers were going to break the hearts of the Griffs and make Baron wait to get another crack at the milestone win.  Chris Manhertz and Isaac Sosa were not going to make Baron wait any longerManhertz and Sosa both hit two big free throws in the game’s final 18 seconds to seal a four point win, 64-60, and get the blue and gold back over .500 in the MAAC.
