CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Devin Booker had a career-high 22 points, freshman T.J. Sapp had four 3-pointers and Clemson overcame a nine-point deficit in the second half to defeat East Tennessee State 65-58 on Sunday. The Tigers (8-6) had lost two of three games at the Diamond Head Classic in Hawaii last week and entered this one seeking a confidence builder before Atlantic Coast Conference play starts next Saturday. East Tennessee State (5-7) gave Clemson all it could handle, leading 41-32 with 16 minutes to go. The Tigers used a 12-2 run to get back into it, and Sapp's final 3-pointer put them in front 49-47. Booker followed with a breakaway jam that got the sparse holiday crowd at Littlejohn Coliseum on its feet. Adam Sollazzo had a career-high 27 points for ETSU.
