Sean McGonagill scored 28 points and Brown recorded its highest-scoring game of the season in a 94-78 victory over Columbia Saturday night. The Bears (8-21, 2-10) won for just the second time in Ivy League play this season. Columbia, which demolished Brown 86-60 earlier this season, lost its fifth straight game. The Lions dropped to 14-14, 3-9 after allowing the most points they've surrendered all season. Brown broke an eight-game Ivy skid behind McGonagill. He hit 8 of 11 field goal attempts, including 5 of 7 from 3-point range, and was 7 for 8 from the stripe. He recorded eight rebounds and eight assists. At halftime, Brown led 43-26. Brian Barbour had an 18-point, 10-assist double-double for Columbia. Mark Cisco added 15 points. Stephen Albrecht and Dockery Walker scored 13 apiece for Brown, which hit 14 of 22 treys. Columbia was just 8 of 21.
