Virginia Tech transfer Dorian Finney-Smith was on the Louisville campus from Sunday-Tuesday. He and his mother reportedly left town very impressed. I had heard from sources close to the program on Monday evening that Finney-Smith was Louisville’s to lose.  “The visit was cool,” his mother, Desiree, told Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com “I loved it. It wasn’t like I thought it was. I thought it was country.” Louisville was one of the two visits that Finney-Smith had setup. The other one was to Iowa State on June 7-9. Fred Hoiberg and the Cyclones have been mentioned since the day Finney-Smith announced his intentions to transfer. I’m not sure what the connection is there, but his mother reportedly is very high on Iowa State. However, Hoiberg may have a lot of work to do.
