Branden Frazier scored 18 points and Chris Gaston tallied a double-double, leading Fordham to a 64-49 win over Binghamton on Friday night. Gaston scored 15 points and grabbed 11 boards for the Rams (1-1), who also got 14 points apiece from both Devon McMillan and Bryan Smith. Fordham got going early and built a 41-17 margin at the break. The Bearcats (0-3) outscored the Rams 32-23 in the second half, but it wasn't enough. The Rams shot 48 percent (24 of 50) from the floor compared to just a 34 percent (16 of 47) mark by the Bearcats. Fordham also outscored Binghamton 30-14 in the paint and 17-4 on the fast break. The Bearcats, who committed 23 turnovers in the loss, only had one player in double figures, as Ben Dickinson finished with 17 points.
