The news that JaMychal Green might be available for today’s game against Mississippi State might have been met with a big “YAWN” the way the Alabama basketball team has been playing. But most would agree it would be helpful to have the team’s leading scorer and rebounder back.

Announcer run over by player
ESPN announcer Jimmy Dykes got absolutely laid out by Alabama freshman guard Levi Randolph during the Bama-Arkansas game Thursday. The play occurred with just under 10 minutes remaining in the game. Randolph poked the ball while going for a steal and tried to save the loose ball. He ended up diving over the announcers table at mid-court, knocking over Dykes. Papers were flying...
Alabama's Levi Randolph nearly kills Jimmy Dykes
Check out this clip from last night's Alabama-Arkansas hoops game in Fayetteville. Alabama's Levi Randolph is trying to grab a loose ball, and in the process, he throws a pretty vicious flying shoulder block at ESPN's Jimmy Dykes. Dykes goes down, Randolph doesn't get the ball, and ESPN gets a monitor destroyed. A job well done all-around. Thankfully, neither Dykes...
Levi Randolph Got Message From Grant
Earlier in the week, Alabama Basketball Coach Anthony Grant remarked to media members that he’d like to see guard Levi Randolph be a bit more aggressive on the offensive end of the court. To Grant’s pleasure and the misery of Mississippi State, Randolph apparently heard his coach, loud and clear.
Alabama's Levi Randolph had the best tackle on combine day...of ESPN announcer Jim Dykes
It's usually levy and ****, not Levi and Dykes -- but Alabama freshman guard Levi Randolph changed all that. Just ask ESPN announcer Jimmy Dykes.
No word if there was a finger in there.
Every...

Jack Blankenship holds cardboard cutout of Michelle Beadle's face at Alabama game (Video)
Alabama freshman Jack Blankenship, who has become famous for holding a cardboard cutout of his own goofy face at University of Alabama basketball games this season, was in attendance Saturday night as Alabama hosted Mississippi State in an SEC basketball matchup. Alabama RB Richardson ready to carry NFL load
Trent Richardson says running backs are undervalued, and he doesn't like it.
Few have been drafted early in recent years as many NFL teams have shifted to a running back-by-committee approach. Richardson, considered the top back in this year's class, believes he's an every-down back worthy of a high pick. Last season, he ran for 1,679 yards and 21 touchdowns for Alabama...

Alabama safety Mark Barron explains why he’s the most NFL-ready safety
The last player who spoke to media members at the NFL Combine was Alabama safety Mark Barron. He was worth the wait.
Barron starred for Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban, but he won’t get the chance to impress on the field. Barron had double hernia surgery after the season, and he’s still recovering. Still he impressed at the podium.
I asked him if he got a sense for him being NFL...
