CJ Wilcox poured in a career-high 25 points to lead the Huskies to a gritty 91-83 victory over a gritty Seattle University squad. The Redhawks gave the Huskies all they could handle with their full-court press, as they forced the Dawgs into 11 second-half turnovers to keep it close.
BEST OF MAXIM
Can the Huskies play like Seattle U.? The Redhawks made this a game because of their coaching strategy. Cameron Dollar came into this game with a plan and executed. Seattle U. came after the Dawgs from the start and was relentless in their full-court press for 40 minutes. UW was pressured into many turnovers and bad shots because of the press and half-court...

Another North West Coach in the spotlight today. Current University of Washington Huskies head coach Lorenzo Romar. He can also be remembered for his short NBA career and playing for AIA.
Justin Dentmon was named the Pac-10′s Most Improved Player as a senior during the 2008-09 NCAA season with the Washington Huskies, but the 6-foot guard has improved quite a bit since. He’s looking to show NBA decision-makers just how much more he’s improved this week while playing with the Austin Toros in the NBA D-League…
