Xavier Hoops:
Last year was one of the least talented and deep Xavier teams in several years. We had very disappointing OOC play followed by very good A-10 play, ultimately ending up with X getting a 6 seed and getting smoked by Marquette.
This year's team was supposed to be one of the best and deepest teams we have ever had. So far they have fallen short of expectations. Here is where I see us stacking up compared to last year, by position.
PG - Significant increase in depth with Dee Davis. I don't see Holloway playing any better so far than last year, and he may actually be playing worse. Still we are better at PG because we have some depth. It probably isn't fair to expect Holloway to play much better than he did last year. He played very well last season and I don't know how much room there really is for improvement.
SG - Lyons started out the season playing very well, significantly better than he was playing at this point last year. If I remember correctly Ly...
