While the legitimacy of the feat is in question, the talent of Karl Towns is definitely not. According to the high school box score, Towns went for 16 points, 17 rebounds, 7 blocks, and 2 assists. Keep in mind, this is not a professional keeping track of these stats. Towns tweeted to his followers that he had 11 blocks, and 10 or 11 assists. Regardless, the kid plays like a strait-up man. If anyone had any doubts of his power, a rim was clearly broken after a Karl Towns slam during the game. He tweeted later that the other rim would have been broken if he didn’t foul out in the 4th quarter.   The former #1 player in the 2015 class is now ranked #3 in his 2014 class. He has earned the honor of being the youngest member of the John Calipari coached Dominican National Team. The team fell just one win shy of qualifying for the Olympics. The video below does not show the rim rattling dunk, and the refs don’t even notice the rim being odd until Towns’ team was back on offense. It gives you a glimpse of his game and what he’s going to bring to Kentucky. YouTube Credit: themarsreel
