NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 20: Head coach Jim Boeheim of the Syracuse Orange looks on against the North Carolina Tar Heels during the championship game of the 2K Sports Classic on November 20, 2009 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. (Photo by Jim McIsaac/Getty Images)
A few days ago, we showed you this incredible tattoo of Syracuse basketball coach Jim Boeheim that an Orange fan got tattooed onto his leg. One of the big questions after the fan got inked up was how would Boeheim react, because while this is the fan’s way of honoring him, it’s still a bit out there. Yesterday, ESPN’s Jeff Goodman got to the bottom of it, asking the Hall of Fame coach what he thought, and it typical Boeheim fashion, his answer was short and to the point. Just talked to Boeheim about crazy fan who got THIS tattoo on his leg. “I would wear long pants for rest of my life.” pic.twitter.com/LnNE7YRBzQ — Jeff Goodman (@GoodmanESPN) July 18, 2014 It’s nice to see that Boeheim has a sense of humor about this, since nobody would blame him if he was a little weirded out by the whole situation.
