CBS Sports Josh Gray, a 6-foot-1 combo-guard out of Odessa Junior College in Odessa, TX., picked up a scholarship offer from Louisville on Friday evening. Gray spent his freshman season at Texas Tech in 2012-13, but decided to transfer following a coaching change. He decided to go the JUCO route which means he’ll be able to play immediately in 2013-14 and will then have two seasons of eligibility left at the D1 level. The Lakes Charles, LA., native played in 31 games for the Red Raiders last season and averaged 9.3 points and 3.2 assists per game. In his first junior college game on Friday evening, Gray finished with 47-points and 10-assists. A Louisville staff member was on hand during the game and obviously liked what they saw. Gray followed up his season debut with a 42-points and 8-assist performance on Saturday night. Brad Winton of JucoRecruiting.com reports that the Louisville staff will travel to see Gray on Monday afternoon. Gray had given Florida State a verbal commitment in September
