One of the most talked about players this season in college basketball has been Kansas Jayhawks center Joel Emdiid. The big man has been a key member of one of the best teams in the nation, but when he faced off against Cameron Ridley and the rest of the Texas Longhorns Saturday--He ended up being just another guy.To be fair, he had a solid game with eight points and 10 rebounds. His counterpart, Cameron Ridley, also pulled down 10 boards, but scored nine points. So how can I name Ridley the winner of the Battle of the Bigs?It wasn't a matter of what he or Embiid did, but how he did it. Ridley simply out-muscled him and made use of the 35 pounds he has on Embiid to get the job done!Gifdsports.comWith their fourth win in a row over a ranked team it's safe to say that the Longhorns are on the right track. The rest of the Big 12 might want to watch out!Final Score: Texas 81 Kansas 69 Loading...
