Where to start? The last time I started a post with those four words it was following the 31 beat down the Cards took at Providence. This time it was the other way around. Louisville put together what was easily their best performance of the season and waxed Connecticut 80-59. To be honest, the game wasn’t as close as the score indicates.
It’s quite remarkable to see how far this team has come in just three weeks. Hat-tip to Coach Pitino for that. You obviously have to give a lot of credit to the entire team, but these guys were free falling at on point. Tonight they played like one of the best teams in the country.
I could pretty much name the entire roster when talking about which guys played well tonight, but Peyton Siva’s play is the most critical in my opinion. His overall confidence is a game changer for this team.
