Luke Hancock is one of three Louisville men’s and women’s basketball players representing the United States this summer. Montrezl Harrell won a gold medal on Sunday as the U19 U.S. Team claimed the 2013 FIBA World Championships. Lady Card Shoni Schimmel is competing for the USA World University Games women’s team.
After multiple scrimmages and exhibition games, the USA’s men’s team began pool play in the World University Games over the weekend. In the first two games of pool play, Hancock is averaging 13.5 points in 15.5 minutes of action.
He’s 10-of-18 from three point range. Hancock scored all 15 of his points from behind the three point line in Monday morning’s win over the Czech Republic.
