The No. 10 Memphis men's basketball team kicked off the 2011-12 season in impressive fashion Tuesday with a 97-81 win over Belmont in the opening round of the EA Sports Maui Invitational. In both the home and season opener for the Tigers, three players scored at least 20 points, including 22 from senior Wesley Witherspoon, who was a perfect 8-for-8 from the field.
