Alasdair Fraser had 21 points and 12 rebounds and Raheem Singleton hit two free throws with 7 seconds remaining to give Maine a 77-76 victory over Maryland-Baltimore County in overtime Saturday. After UMBC took a 76-73 lead with 19 seconds to play on two free throws by Ryan Cook, a tip-in by Gerald McLemore, who had 20 points, brought the Black Bears (11-10, 5-5 America East Conference) within a point with 9 seconds left. McLemore quickly fouled Brian Neller, who missed both his attempts for the Retrievers (3-19, 2-8). Fraser grabbed the rebound, and Singleton was fouled by Jarrel Lane with 7 seconds left and made both shots. Lane missed a shot just before time expired. Chase Plummer scored 24 points to lead UMBC, making 14 of 18 from the free throw line. The Retrievers made 27 of 35 free throws to Maine's 10 of 15. Cook scored 21 points.
