Many of you have probably heard the story about Manti Te’o and how his “girlfriend” who supposedly died of cancer before Notre Dame played Michigan State, did not exist.  Well this now has a tie in with the University of Louisville’s basketball team via Peyton Siva. Lennay Kekua tweeted Peyton Siva during the Cardinals magical tournament run last year saying: “@lovalovaloveYOU:  @PeypeySiva3 When you comin to Ca bruh? I saw your pops end of last year.”  (She later changed her twitter name) I have been a firm believer that Manti Te’o made up this story to get media attention and boost the chances of him getting the Heisman Trophy.  But this is just plain weird… For one, if this was all a conspiracy why would the person running this account talk like he is a man?  Find me a girl that uses the word “bruh” and I will give you loads of credit because that is just odd and honestly unattractive to all of mankind.  Also I find it hard to believe that a fake account would randomly tweet Siva and ask him when they were coming to California when Peyton Siva is from Washington, unless they were uninformed and trolling.  Also by this time Kekua was Manti Te’o's “babe” and they were basically in a relationship. If this was such a cover-up why risk trying to talk to other athletes? Why try and get others to notice this account? Maybe they really did get Manti Te’o to fall for it and he was just to embarrassed to admit that he got caught in this.  Maybe Manti Te’o and his high school buddy took it to another level and were trying to get someone else in a ploy before they figured out that they could make a great story off of it. But those two scenario’s don’t add up when you figure that “Kekua” was trying to get into contact with Siva after her and Te’o were already an item. I don’t think anyone will ever truly know what happened but I can almost guarantee you it was no coincidence that Peyton Siva got tweeted by “Kekua” in the middle of a tournament run.  Whoever was running this account was out for attention from the start and really took this to a new level. Siva never replied to this tweet.  Also Louisville’s basketball team is banned from using twitter….the absolute insanity of some people could be a main reason why.
