Fox Sports Wisconsin:
Shane Larkin going head-to-head with Vander Blue? How about Davante Gardner and Kenny Kadji squaring off?
Miami and Marquette will have some fun on-the-court match-ups when the two schools square off in the Sweet 16 in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, but let's forget about that for a few minutes and focus on which coach is a better dancer.
Miami coach Jim Larranaga and Marquette's Buzz Williams - two candidates for national coach of the year - both flashed some moves after their teams advanced in the NCAA tournament.
First it was Williams, who has danced before, most memorably at West Virginia in 2012. Excited that Marquette had just won its second nail-biter to head to the school's third straight Sweet 16, Williams had a little fun while his two sons watched.
"I shouldn't have done that," Williams said afterwards. "I was really excited. My two boys are here, my two daughters are at home. My wife has been in the hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, for ove...

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) There was no question about Shane Larkin's go-ahead 3-pointer for Miami.
The ball that appeared to ricochet off the hands of Miami's Kenny Kadji seconds later but went to the Hurricanes -- well, look at the replay.
Regardless, there is no overturning the fact that the Hurricanes are going to the NCAA round of 16 for only the second time in school history...
Shane Larkin hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with a minute left and Miami gained possession on a ball knocked out of bounds that probably should have gone to Illinois, helping the Hurricanes hold on for a 63-59 victory Sunday night to advance to the NCAA round of 16.
After Larkin's first field goal in about 9 1/2 minutes, D.J. Richardson missed a 3-pointer. In the fight for the rebound...
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -- Shane Larkin hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with a minute left and Miami kept possession on a ball knocked out of bounds that probably should have gone to Illinois, helping the Hurricanes hold on for a 63-59 victory Sunday night to advance to the NCAA round of 16.
After Larkin's first field goal in about 9 12 minutes, D.J. Richardson missed a 3-pointer. In the...
LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Butler coach Brad Stevens is a statistical genius. So when he says that not many players have scored 50 points against his team in just two games, he's probably right.
Marquette guard Vander Blue has reached that mark against the Bulldogs this season, including scoring 29 in Saturday night's 74-72 Marquette victory at Rupp Arena to advance to the Sweet...
Miami Hurricanes’ Julian Gamble is up to his photobombing ways again. During the ACC Tournament, Gamble photobombed his coach during an interview. This time, Shane Larkin was being interviewed after The U beat Illinois and Gamble photobombed him. Gamble has certainly perfected his method and I hope he continues to do this as the Hurricanes continue their NCAA Tournament...
LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Vander Blue scored 19 second-half points to rally third-seeded Marquette out of another hole, and the Golden Eagles survived No. 6 Butler 74-72 on Saturday to reach the Round of 16.
Like November's first meeting between the teams at the Maui Invitational, won 72-71 by Butler on Rotnei Clarke's buzzer-beating 3-pointer, this was a back-and-forth, high...
Miami Hurricane's Julian Gamble is giving the Heat's Chris Bosh a run for his money with this epic videobomb on Shane Larkin following the win over Illinois.
AUSTIN, Texas -- While one of the two Florida teams in the Austin regional has earned a reputation for winning a huge number of blowout games, the other has earned attention for its ability to grind out the close ones.
And after Florida kept it up by pulling away from Minnesota in the first game, Miami arguably college basketball's biggest surprise team this season held true...
MILWAUKEE -- Marquette University's men's basketball program has an edge about it.
It stems from its head coach who ascended through the coaching ranks because of his edge, but still coaches with the same chip on his shoulder today though he's one of the nation's hottest coaching commodities.
The Golden Eagles have thrived as underdogs this season. Picked to finish...
There were a lot of blowouts on Saturday, but fans got to see one game go down to the wire early in the day between the Butler Bulldogs and Marquette Golden Eagles.
Butler took an eight point lead into the half, but Marquette steadily chipped away at it in the second half until a layup by Vander Blue tied the game up at 58-58 with roughly 7:30 left to play.
The game stayed...
When we say we love the drama of March Madness, this is what we mean:
Marquette's Davante Gardner, the 6-foot-8, 300-plus-pounder who shoots free throws at an 85-percent clip, sinking two free throws with 4.7 seconds left (as fans chanted "Auto-Matic!") to put his team up four on Butler and, perhaps, put Saturday's third-round game game out of reach.

Kenny Kadji and the U are flying high/
As the midwest #2 seed Miami Hurricanes (28-6, 15-3 ACC) practiced on Saturday, the fire alarm went off in the arena and delayed their practice for 25 minutes. It could've went off because the Hurricanes are on fire. The Hurricanes demolished Pacific on Friday 78-49. Miami&...
AUSTIN, Texas - Miami players Trey McKinney Jones, Julian Gamble and Kenny Kadji discuss the NCAA Tournament third round matchup with Illinois.
