EAST LANSING — The rosters for the Dec. 14 MSU reunion game at Jenison Field House have been confirmed, and let me tell you, this is going to be a fun event. View the rosters below: AWAY (Dark Top/Green Shorts) Coach: Gus Ganakas Players: Jason Aerts, Al Anagonye, Daimon Beathea, Bill Cawood, Ron Charles, Isaiah Dahlman, Terry Donnelly, Patrick Ford, Anthony Ianni, Darryl Johnson, Rick Kaye, Steve Kirkpatrick, Anthony Miller, Andy Penick, Mike Peplowski, Scott Sekal, Kevin Smith, Steve Smith, Matt Steigenga, Dwayne Stephens, Ralph Walker, Travis Walton, Ray Weathers, Kris Weshinskey, Kevin Willis, Edgar Wilson HOME (White Top/Green Shorts) Coach: Mark Dantonio Players: Jason Andreas, Charlie Bell, Tim Bograkos Jr., Tim Bograkis Sr., Steve Cherry, Mateen Cleaves, Jon Garavaglia, Gerald Gilkie, Anthony Hamo, David Hart, Andre Hutson, Idong Ibok, Mat Ishbia, Morris Peterson, Andre Rison, Delco Rowley, Antonio Smith, David Thomas, Kelvin Torbert, Brian Westrick, Benny White, DuJuan Wiley, Adam Wolfe, Todd Wolfe, Jon Zulauf. PREDICTION As a journalist there aren’t many times where I can be bias, however, tonight is one of those nights. As I look at the AWAY team I see some scary names such as Steve Smith and Kevin Willis and see two solid former NBA players, but when I look at the HOME team I see one thing, THE FLINTSTONES. Mateen Cleaves, Morris Peterson and Charlie Bell are three of the most prestigious ball players to put on the Green and White and without them I’m not sure that this Michigan State program or Tom Izzo’s legacy would be even close to what it is today. Throw in Antonio Smith — another Flint representative and left MSU one year before the 2000 national championship — and you have a scary team… I think. The Flintstones. The Mark Dantonio coached team will win pretty big I believe. It will be interesting to see how much time turnovers and substitutions take out of the game due to some bad knees and years away form competitive basketball, but either way Friday night at Jenison will be something special. Also, don’t be surprised if you see all of the Flintstones on the floor at one time.
