Cleanthony Early heard someone say before the start of the NCAA tournament that only about 30 percent of brackets filled out by fans had Wichita State winning its first game. Well, the junior forward has just one question now: How many had the Shockers winning two? In a tournament that has given rise to the lower class, where double-digit seeds have become adept at knocking off the game's blue bloods, the ninth-seeded Shockers' upset of No. 1 seed Gonzaga has quietly put them in a position to make an improbable run at the Final Four. The Shockers (28-8) take on No. 13 seed La Salle on Thursday night in Los Angeles, and then would get sixth-seeded Arizona or No. 2 seed Ohio State for a spot in Atlanta.

Tebow gives speech to Wichita State

Tim Tebow just can’t stop giving inspirational speeches. The homeless QB’s plane stopped in Wichita on Sunday to get some gas and it just happened that he timed the stop perfectly. The Wichita State Shockers were just returning home after landing a spot in the Sweet 16. The obvious move is to ask Tebow to give the boys some inspiration. According to the Wichita Eagle: Tebow...

Tim Tebow Gives Pep Talk to Wichita State

It remains to be seen whether Tim Tebow is going to have much of a career playing football, but it goes without saying that the former Florida Gator is a heck of a public speaker. Whether it's going to prisons. churches (controversial or not), schools, or doing it for his own team the man has a knack for being able to rally the troops. His latest speech happened on a bus...

Tim Tebow Celebrates With Wichita State After Beating Gonzaga (VIDEO)

Tim Tebow should retire from football and team up with Ray Lewis in hopes of becoming an inspirational speaker. To be fair, although Lewis has his fair of preaching to the choir incidents too he also performed on the football field. However I am still uncertain to what it is exactly Tim Tebow does. While Tebow was living the good life, waiting to have his jet refueled he made an...

No. 1 Gonzaga fails to live up to lofty ranking

Gonzaga was No. 1, yet never really played like it in the NCAA tournament. Not in Thursday's second-round game, when the Zags struggled against 16th-seeded Southern of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. And not Saturday against No, 9 seed Wichita State, which nearly buried the Bulldogs in the first half. Now Gonzaga's gone, its resume of 15 straight NCAA appearances...
