For the second time this season, Indiana junior Victor Oladipo was named Big Ten player of the week. The award is announced every Monday morning by the conference. It was the second player of the week award this season for Oladipo, who scored 19 points, grabbed nine rebounds and had five steals in last Tuesday’s 72-68 win at Michigan State. “There were a lot of very deserving guys this week. Is it time to crown Indiana Big Ten Champs?

A two game lead for the regular season title with four games to go? No sweat, especially when your the No. 1 ranked team in the country and your name is Indiana, right? In most seasons and in most conferences you bet that would be the case. However, if this Big Ten season has taught us anything over the last few weeks it's that the theme has to be "It ain'...

Etiquette for the Indiana game.

Normally in our game previews we break down the keys statistics, key match-ups, and the players most likely to decide the outcome of the game. None of that seems necessary when number one Indiana comes to The Barn on Tuesday night. Indiana is just better that the Gophers. The players are better. The coaching is better. The team is better. Indiana should win, and rather handily....

IU leaves rival guards off Naismith release

Indiana University might want to forget about him, but Trey Burke is definitely still around. The Hoosiers put out a news release Tuesday bragging that they have two finalists Cody Zeller and Victor Oladipo for the Naismith Player of the Year Award. Oddly, the list at the bottom of the release has only 28 names, although 30 finalists were chosen. The first name missing was...
