Yesterday was a big day for ex-Kansas Jayhawks star Cole Aldrich. Aldrich, currently an NBA free agent, got married to his longtime girlfriend, Brittany Claflin. Of course, Aldrich invited his former coach Bill Self to the wedding. Apparently there were some other notable attendees as well — check out this photo from the reception: Haa i bleed burnt orange forever!! RT @CoachBillSelf: Big shot Reed having fun oh and also some guy named Durant. pic.twitter.com/LxvywHOoIQ — Kevin Durant (@KDTrey5) July 21, 2013 Yes, that’s Self, Kevin Durant, and Kansas great Tyrel Reed. Of course the two Jayhawks makes sense, and Aldrich was teammates with Durant for two years in Oklahoma City. It’s pretty great that Durant decided to give the “Hook ‘em Horns” in the photo — he both represented Texas and replaced the good old-fashioned bunny ears in one move. College loyalties last forever, folks.
