The Philadelphia 76ers had very high hopes for their young center Jason Smith after his performance in the Las Vegas Summer League last month. Smith who played in 76 games in his rookie season, was a dominant force in Las Vegas as he averaged 18.6 points, 5 rebounds per game ins five contests. Well all the excitement that the Sixers had as Smith approached his second year in the Association, has been put on hold.
