Chris Perez scored 24 points and Aaron Graham 15 as Stetson snapped its five-game losing streak with a 66-62 victory over Kennesaw State on Monday night. Perez, who went scoreless Friday night when the Hatters (5-8, 2-1 Atlantic Sun Conference) lost to James Madison 71-69 in overtime, had six points during a 13-0 run in the final 5:41 of the first half, giving Stetson a 32-21 lead. The Owls (3-11, 0-3) opened the second half with a layup by Delbert Love and never trailed by more than 10 points after that but were unable to get closer than three. A 3-pointer by Graham gave Stetson a nine-point cushion, 63-54, with 1:22 remaining. Adam Pegg added 10 points and nine rebounds for the Hatters. Markeith Cummings scored 17 points and Spencer Dixon had 15 to lead the Owls, who lost for the ninth time in their last 10 games.
