Iowa forward and Strongsville, OH native Aaron White was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week Monday. White brought home his second Freshman of the Week honor after averaging 17.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in wins over Central Arkansas and Boise State. A 6'8 forward, White is averaging 9.2 points and 4.8 rebounds for the season while coming off the bench for the Hawkeyes. Big Ten play begins this week. Michigan point guard Trey Burke, a Columbus native and Ohio's Mr. Basketball last season, has also won two Freshman of the Week awards.
