Takeaways: Kentucky's offense explodes to take down Vanderbilt in Nashville 109-77

In a game where you score 109 points, a lot of players are going to be involved. That was the case for Kentucky as the Wildcats had six players in double figures, including Antonio Reeves (24), Rob Dillingham (20), Jordan Burks (13), Zvonimir Ivisic (11), Justin Edwards (17), and Aaron Bradshaw (12). Kentucky shot 55.4% from the field in this game and 57.7% from deep, including a whooping 15 made threes. When Kentucky does this on offense, they are nearly impossible to beat, even with the lingering defensive issues. 

Justin Edwards had a big night

Justin Edwards scored 17 points in this game while going 5-10 from the field and 6-6 from the free throw line. He also had three assists and two steals. Was Edwards perfect in this game? No. But he did a lot well, and hopefully, all he needed was a little bit of confidence. If Edwards can start giving this team ten points a game, it's hard to pull him out of the lineup. The bench was ecstatic for Edwards as he really needed a game like this. This game could be looked at as "the game that got Justin Edwards going" if he continues to play well going forward. 

Rob Dillingham did it all

Rob Dillingham was coming off a 35-point performance against Tennessee, and he backed that with 20 points in this game. To go with his 20 points, Dillingham also dished nine assists, one away from a double-double. Everyone knows Dillingham can score the basketball, but seeing him be able to pass the ball and find open looks for his teammates is what will make him so special at the next level. Having watched Dillingham all of these games, it's becoming clear he is the best pro prospect on Kentucky's roster, thanks to his ability to find space and shoot the ball.
