Top 10 players: Pac 10 Allen Crabbe  SG  California- 15.2pts 5.7reb. Crabbe is a terrific shooter and can really get hot, but needs to expand his game. He isn’t a great ball handler which hinders his ability to create his own shots. If he improves there he could become a huge threat. Solomon Hill  SF  Arizona- 12.9pts 7.7reb. He shed some weight in the offseason and has been promised a return to his natural position, so he’s primed to have his best season yet. Mark Lyons  PG  Arizona- Transfer/Xavier Lyons is a steady player that doesn’t make a lot of mistakes. He will flourish will all the talent surrounding him in Arizona. May catch some NBA scouts’ eyes. Brock Motum  PF  Washington State- 18.0pts. 6.4reb. Motum can beat his opponents in multiple ways down I the post. The south paw uses a bevy of post moves to bet around opponents, and if they don’t work he can stretch the defense out with a mid-range jumper. Chasson Randle  PG  Stanford- 13.8pts. 3.2reb. Randle shot 44 percent from beyond the arc last year, and is expected to be even better this year. He’s got the ability to score in bunches and really take over a game, but needs to improve on his passing and vision this season. Devin Collier  PF  Oregon State- 13.1pts 5.2reb. Collier was strictly a slasher and post option last year, and excelled in those areas. This year he’ll try to add a jump shot to his repertoire. If he can, he and Oregon State will be a force to be reckoned with. Andre Roberson  SF  Colorado- 11.6pts 11.1reb. Roberson is a stringy, athletic winger that specializes in transition and on the boards. If he can mature his offensive game it could lead to an early draft pick. Joshua Smith  C  UCLA- 9.9pts 4.9ast. Smith has vowed to get his weight in check during the offseason. It is yet to be seen if that actually happened, but if Smith wants to be the player he was recruited to be it needs to happen. C.J Wilcox  SG  Washington- 14.2pts. 3.4ast. Wilcox is the remaining player of their three headed guard attack last year. He’s a terrific shooter and able ball handler. If he can relish being the best player on the team Washington could make it back to the tournament. Travis Wear  PF  UCLA- 11.5pts 5.9reb. The best offensively out of the Wear twins. He is technically sound with a bevy of post moves. He reminds of a smaller Tyler Zeller the way he can score from different angles. Top 5 freshmen Shabazz Muhammad  SG  UCLA- He was the top rated recruit until Noel became eligible. Will likely be a one and done that helps UCLA to the Final Four. Brandon Ashley  PF  Arizona- There’s three top 15 post players coming into Arizona this year, but his game might be the most college ready. Kyle Anderson  SF  UCLA- Lighting quick; just kidding, he’s actually turtle slow, but he can hit the three, and at 6’8” has even played point guard. Could be special if he gains some quickness. Kaleb Tarczewski  C  Arizona- Surprisingly picked Arizona over Kansas because he was basically promised a starting spot at center. A little raw offensively, but will be a monster on the defensive end. Grant Jerrett  PF  Arizona- Another top 10 recruit in a very busy year for Miller and the Wildcats. It will be tough to sit him, but they can only play so many.
