Does college basketball's hottest player want to go to Orlando? Maybe. Rob Ferguson-USA TODAY Sports

Oklahoma star Trae Young is projected to be a high-to-mid lottery pick in this year’s NBA Draft, and he may already have a preferred destination in mind.

Orlando Magic blog The Lando shared some recent liked tweets by the freshman guard that seemed to indicate a desire to be drafted by the Magic.

Young, 19, currently leads the nation in both points (30.3) and assists per game (9.6), drawing high praise from the NBA’s elite for his all-around game.

As for the Magic, they are tied for the worst record in the league at the moment and still lack a surefire franchise cornerstone. Incumbent starting point guard Elfrid Payton will also be a restricted free agent after the season.

Young, a Lubbock, Texas native, does not appear to have any ties to the Orlando area, but the Magic may still make for a solid landing spot for him.
