One week ago, it appeared as if Michigan Wolverines point guard Trey Burke was headed to the NBA. But He has released a statement claiming that he will return to Ann Arbor to continue his collegiate career
"I have so much more to develop as both a student and athlete, and there is no better place to do that than here at Michigan. I love my Michigan family and am really excited about playing with my teammates and our incoming freshmen. I want to thank my parents, my teammates and my coaches for the patience and guidance they gave me since this process began a few weeks ago."
Burke was selected All-B1G Freshman of the Year and led the Wolverines to a share of the conference title for the first time since 1986. It is the first banner for the school since their 1989 National Title team. H/T USA Today
