Justin Wright led four Troy players in double figures with 18 points in a 91-63 rout of Louisiana-Monroe Saturday night in Sun Belt Conference play. Troy (7-11, 2-5) stormed to a 48-28 lead at the half and was never threatened thereafter. The Trojans got 17 points from Emil Jones, 16 from R.J. Scott and 12 from point guard Will Weathers. Weathers also had 12 assists, equaling Louisiana-Monroe's team total and accounting for more than half of Troy's 23 assists. For Louisiana-Monroe (2-19, 1-7), Steve McClellan scored 14 points and Charles Winborne 11. The Warhawks hit just 6 of 19 3-point attempts. Troy, meanwhile, connected on 15 of 32 from 3-point range. Louisiana-Monroe didn't fare much better overall, making 26 of 63 field goal attempts (41.3 percent). Troy was 35 for 63 (55.6 percent) from the floor and led by as many as 34 points, 83-49, with 6:11 left.
