UF/FSU Recruiting Battles Spill Over To The Floor

When the Gators and Seminoles meet at the O'Connell Center (8 p.m, FSN), it will serve as not just another rivalry game, but a game with significant recruiting ties. Allen chose Florida over Florida State, where his father was a standout guard for the Seminoles. Freshman forward Chandler Parsons also changed his mind to Florida after making a verbal commitment to Florida State coach Leonard Hamilton during his sophomore year in high school. Allen said he expects about 15 family members and many more friends in the stands.
