The Heels went into Clemson, South Carolina and pulled off an important victory, improving to 10-5 in the ACC. Clemson continues its rough season, falling to 5-10 in conference play. Senior Dexter Strickland had a rare high-scoring game, matching his season high with 16 points. Devin Booker had a strong showing in the second half, finishing with an impressive 25 points and 11 rebounds.  Carolina had a solid first half offensively and defensively, shooting 46.9% (6-15 from 3) and holding Clemson to only 34.5% shooting.
