Virginia added a talented 6'8" forward to their roster today, as Anthony Gill has decided to transfer to Virginia.  Gill averaged 7.6 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game in his freshman season at South Carolina.  He will have to sit out the 2012-2013 season and will have three years of eligibility remaining.  Here is more from Streaking the Lawn...

Virginia basketball landed one of its top transfer targets today, when Anthony Gill pulled the trigger in favor of the Cavaliers. I don’t think anyone would compare Tony Bennett to Michael Bay. Bay is known for his over-the-top action thrillers with massive explosions. Bennett, well, is on the COMPLETE OPPOSITE end of that spectrum. But one thing you have to credit the basketball guru with is his methodical thinking as it pertains to personnel. Virginia has never really been in the transfer market when it...
