Derrick Nix was driving a 2011 Dodge Charger
Derrick Nix and Michigan State might be parting ways after his arrest last weekend when police pulled over the Spartans center after he ran a red light. Police gave the 270lb Nix numerous field sobriety tests, which he managed to fail each time. Nix was cooperative with police after they pulled him over in a 2011 Dodge Charger. Wait, what?

MSU's Nix arrested, suspended from team
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State center Derrick Nix has been suspended indefinitely from the basketball team after his arrest early Tuesday on suspicion of operating a vehicle with any presence of drugs and possession of marijuana.
