On paper, if ASU was looking for a contest to bounce back from a four-game skid, then a home date with a struggling Washington State team (2-8, 0-7 Pac-12) is exactly what the doctor ordered. Then again, despite their record the Cougars at times have proven to be a formidable opponent with a very potent passing offense.
