A large brawl ended the Cincinnati-Xavier game with a few seconds left on the clock. One player even threw a nasty punch.

This fight happened near the end of the Cincinnati vs. Xavier game earlier today. Yancy Gates with the nice knockout punch to Freese and Freese was bleeding profusely after the punch. Here are two videos of the brawl.

Eighth-ranked Xavier defeated crosstown rival Cincinnati 76-53 in a game that was called with 9.4 seconds left when the teams got into a brawl.
The game was stopped after words led to shoving and both benches cleared. Coaches from both teams had to pull their players away.
Mark Lyons scored 19 points, and Tu Holloway led a 12-point run in the first half for Xavier.

The University of Cincinnati announced the suspension of 4 basketball players based off the fight that closed the Crosstown Shootout yesterday. Yancy Gates, Cheikh Mbodj and Octavius Ellis get 6 games for their actions. Ge'Lawn Guyn received a 1 game suspension. That means all 4 will miss the Wright State game Wednesday night. Earlier today, #6 ranked Xavier was able to defeat Cincinnati but the game was called at the end due to a bench-clearing brawl that started when Xavier's Tu Holloway and Cincinnati’s Ge’Lawn Guyn started to jaw at each other.
