The first day of the SEC tournament saw an improved LSU basketball team get their first tournament win since 2009. The 8th seeded Tigers up-ended the 9th seeded Arkansas Razorbacks by a score of 70-54. LSU game winning shot in overtime vs #23 Mississippi State
LSU has been terrible. But on Tuesday, at home, Anthony Hickey changed that against #23 Mississippi State. At least for one night. The final was 69-67, and the Bulldogs have now lost consecutive games to bottom feeders Georgia and LSU, both in overtime.
