Augustine Rubit of South Alabama has been named the 2013 Sun Belt Player of the Year.

Augustine Rubit scored 18 points, including the go-ahead tip-in with 35 seconds left to lift South Alabama past Florida Atlantic 72-71 in a Sun Belt Conference showdown Saturday night.
