Colin Borchert scored a career-high 21 points, Gavin Ware added 12 and Mississippi State beat Mississippi 73-67 on Saturday to break a 13-game losing streak.

Mississippi State guard Jalen Steele is expected to miss six weeks because of a fractured right wrist.
