Former Illini Richmond placed on home detention
A Lake County court official says former University of Illinois basketball player Jereme Richmond has been placed on home detention.
A court official says the 19-year-old from Waukegan was placed on detention Thursday while awaiting trial on battery and weapons charges. No trial date has been set.
Richmond was required to be at home between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. as a bond condition...
