Both Olynyk and Harris are trying to establish themselves on the Celtics and Lakers. Harris is fighting for one of the last spots...

The 2012-2013 Gonzaga Bulldogs basketball team had a season to remember. It was a year of firsts for the unstoppable Zags, getting a number one ranking and a number one overall tournament seed. Led by upperclassmen Kelly Olynyk and Elias Harris, the Bulldogs looked poised for what they hoped was another first: a final four...
Gonzaga forward Kelly Olynyk said Friday he will skip his senior season to enter the NBA draft.
The decision caps a whirlwind season in which Olynyk went from afterthought to All-America selection and led Gonzaga to the top spot on The Associated Press poll for the first time in school history.

Kelly Olynyk a Top Five All-American
Fans of the NWSB blog & followers of me ("Q") on twitter @NWSBQ know what a fan of Canadian athletes (specifically British Columbia athletes) I am.
Today we found out Gonzaga University junior Kelly Olynyk was named to the John R. Wooden Top Five All-America team Friday.
Kelly is only the 3rd Zag to receive this recognition...
Gonzaga's special season has ended with another early exit in the NCAA tournament.
Although they reached No. 1 in The Associated Press Top 25 and earned a top seed in the tournament, the Zags were bounced 76-70 in the round of 32 on Saturday by Wichita State.

Star Gonzaga Bulldogs forward Kelly Olynyk throws down a monster dunk over Saint Mary's during the WCC Tournament Championship game.
If you’ve been watching college basketball at all this season, then you’ve heard of Kelly Olynyk. He’s the best player on the #1 team in the country, the Gonzaga Bulldogs, and he’s having an insane season where he’s averaging over 17 points per game on 65.5% shooting.
Tonight against St. Mary’s, Olynyk was again putting on a clinic, including this vicious dunk on St....
The new polls came out today and as expected Gonzaga is the new #1 team in the country. I’m having a hard time excepting that fact. Sure they own an impressive 29-2 record, but it was largely built by romping through a weak West Coast Conference. Gonzaga has racked up 17 wins against teams ranked 101st or lower in the RPI. Their two losses were against Butler and at home to Illinois...
After his sophomore season 7-foot center Kelly Olynyk faced a major decision. Should he stay at Gonzaga where he wasn’t earning many minutes or should he transfer? The coaches – who had to re-recruit him – pointed out that he’d half to sit out a year if he transferred, so why not sit out at Gonzaga?
So that’s what he did. He took a rare mid-career redshirt and reinvented...
Anyone else want to MmmBop Kelly Olynyk in the face this morning?
Good morning and Happy Thursday, Cougs! Some game last night, huh? In case you missed it (or also missed Sean's morning post), the Cougar men's hoopers fell to 10th ranked (!) Gonzaga lastnight 71-69 in front of a rowdy crowd at Beasley Coliseum. I see you, Zzu Cru. You know it was a strange game when it...
